Best Thriller Book - Nemesis
Looking for the best thriller book? “Nemesis” has all the hard hitting action & suspense you need!
This is an action packed crime thriller full of intrigue, murder and mystery. John Kane sets out once more on his crusade for vengeance to find the man who he believes is responsible for his lover’s death. In the first book Necessary Evils John believes he’s destroyed a criminal empire by murdering top crime boss Tony Costa. However, Tony Costa was only the second in command of the organization and his sadistic older brother Jimmy is the real top dog. The paranoid gangland boss is now out for his own revenge and is desperate to find his brother’s killer. Jimmy Costa hires the best hit man in the land (Harold Harper) a vicious, uncompromising psychopath to find the murderer of his beloved younger brother. The tables may have turned, and John Kane, once the hunter, has now become the hunted. However, all is not what it seems in this story. Will the contract killer Harold Harper and the deranged Jimmy Costa prevail and catch up with Kane? Or, does John Kane have a guardian angel watching over him?
˃˃˃Reading Nemesis is like driving a Ferrari.
Gears shifting and danger flying into your face. You’ll be exhausted but very satisfied when you finish this book. The book is a sequel to Necessary Evils and its best if you read that one first. You won’t be disappointed.

˃˃˃Carson writes with energy and style.
The villains are hard and the violence uncompromising. It read like a movie and the descriptions are vivid and the tension slowly escalates to the explosive finale. Really appreciated the technical writing and felt that Carson had a good handle on the London criminal scene and provided the humour and snappy dialogue of ‘Snatch’. Would recommend this to anyone who likes their heroes and villains thoroughly hard boiled!

Can’t wait to read Nemesis. If it is even half as good as Necessary Evils I think you will have a winner on your hands.

**** If you like a good mystery, then you’ll probably like Nemesis.
This is a suspenseful crime thriller in the John Grisham style. The characters are complex, the plot intricate and attention to detail extraordinary.
I read this first even though it is a sequel to Necessary Evils. While that may not seem ideal, the story will still make sense if you haven’t read his prior book. I just ordered Necessary Evils. Reading Nemeais will be an immersive experience as Carson’s writing style will hook the reader in from the beginning. Jay Douglass Good Reads
